Integrated Eskrima is the name of a Filipino martial arts (FMA) training system developed by Grandmaster Mark V. Wiley. It isn’t just another style of Eskrima or Arnis — it’s a comprehensive method of teaching and training the Filipino martial arts based on principles, strategy, and integrated combat-ready applications rather than memorizing isolated techniques.
Integrated Eskrima teaches various FMA weapons, including
Blade - We use training blades to gain understanding of angles and positioning
Single Stick (Arnis / Baston) – usually rattan sticks
Double Stick – using both hands independently to train coordination, angles, and timing.
Knife / Dagger – includes thrusts, slashes, defenses.
Integrated Eskrima is heavy based on the blade of Antonio “Tatang” Ilustrisimo (1904–1997) was a Filipino martial artist renowned for founding Kalis Ilustrisimo, one of the most respected systems of Eskrima or Filipino blade arts
